PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
(June 2016 - June 2021)
Collins Aerospace is a pioneer in the avionics industry, dedicated to innovate and redefine aerospace. As a Lead Software Engineer at Collins, I was responsible for the development, verification and validation of flight display software application (FDSA) with atmost quality and zero defects in a fully agile environment. Under the leadership of Revanth Kumar Juttukonda I contributed to the successful TSO certification of C-295 FDSA and KC-390 EICAS.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Quadrant Award: Best performing team
QueSST (X-59)
L1B Visa Holder, Cedar Rapids, IALockheed Martin X-59 QueSST (Quiet SuperSonic Technology) is an experimental supersonic aircraft designed to demonstrate NASA's Low Boom Flight. To achieve the Low-Boom the X-plane has a unique design with long and pointed nose-cone, which also obstructs all forward vision. To compensate this lack of visibility, Enhanced Vision System (EVS) developed at Collins Aerospace is used.
My Contributions
- Derived EVS High Level requirements from System Requirements.
- Performed Model Based Software Development.
- Built rehost and target executables of Flight Display Software.
- Authored unit and black box tests and executed on the system test stand.
- Generated Trace reports (System -> Software -> Tests -> Logs).
ACHIEVEMENTS
KAIZEN Contest Best Lean Idea:
Automated the manual Structural Coverage Analysis process, created a pipeline for continuous testing and analysis, saved 500 engineering hours.
LEONARDO AW609
Lead Software Engineer, Hyderabad, IndiaAugustaWestland AW609 is a twin-engined tiltrotor aircraft, with the capability of landing like a helicopter while having the range and speed of a conventional rotorcraft. AW609 uses the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion architecture for the cockpit displays
My Contributions
- Co-Lead & back-up scrum master.
- Subject Matter Expert and Overseas Main Reviewer for the Display Window Management (DWM) software application.
- Authored intergration tests for the DWM software as per DO-178C guidelines for Design Assurance Level A system.
- Performed static code and structural coverage analysis (SCA).
- Generated Trace reports (Software Requirements -> Tests -> Code Coverage -> Logs).
- Communicated sprint progress with the on-site team in france.
